History

In the early nineties Rien Stas was an independent handyman when he was asked to hang some artwork. He looked into the existing hanging systems and rapidly concluded that he could do a better job…

In 1995 Rien established, together with his brother André, STAS picture hanging systems. Rien focused on product development and André concentrated on the sales. The product line was growing rapidly and the innovations clearly filled a gap in the market because they are always an instant success!

We innovate from the philosophy: for every situation a suitable solution. The clever hanging systems are patented and STAS has won several awards. STAS is very successful in The Netherlands and worldwide, where we have a respected name and export to over 50 countries.

Als zelfstandig klusjesman krijgt Rien Stas begin jaren ’90 de vraag om kunst op te hangen. Hij verdiept zich in de bestaande schilderij ophangsystemen en komt al snel tot de conclusie dat hij het zelf beter kan…

In 1995 richt Rien, samen met zijn broer André, STAS picture hanging systems op. Rien richt zich op de productontwikkeling en André pakt de verkoop op. Het assortiment groeit snel en de innovaties op het gebied van schilderij ophangsystemen vervullen duidelijk een behoefte in de markt want ze zijn vanaf de start een doorslaand succes!

STAS innoveert vanuit de filosofie: voor iedere situatie een passende oplossing. De slimme ophangoplossingen worden veelal gepatenteerd en STAS sleept diverse prijzen in de wacht. Niet alleen in Nederland zijn we succesvol, ook wereldwijd maken we naam en exporteren we naar meer dan 50 landen in de wereld!

STAS is inmiddels, met dank aan al onze afnemers, flink gegroeid. Ook de komende jaren blijven we innoveren!

Au début des Années 90, Rien Stas, alors entrepreneur général très adroit, se vit confier l’accrochage d’œuvres d’art. Après avoir testé les systèmes de suspension existants, il conclut rapidement qu’il pourrait proposer un système plus efficace…

Avec l’aide de son frère André, Rien Stas crée en 1995 STAS Picture Hanging Systems. Il se concentre alors sur la Recherche et Développement alors qu’André se consacre à la promotion et la vente. Le succès rapide des produits STAS semble démontrer qu’ils répondent à un réel besoin des consommateurs ; la gamme des articles croît alors rapidement!

STAS se dédie entièrement à l’innovation: A chaque situation une solution sur mesures. Les récompenses internationales gagnées par nos différents systèmes de suspension confirment notre philosophie. Elle explique également notre grand succès en Hollande et dans les 50 pays, où sont distribués nos produits.

A principios de los noventa, Rien Stas era un artesano independiente cuando se le solicitó que colgara algunas obras de arte. Buscó entre los sistemas de colgar existentes, y rápidamente llegó a la conclusión que él podía hacerlo mejor…

En 1995 Rien creó, junto con su hermano André, STAS Picture Hanging Systems. Rien se centró en el desarrollo del producto, y André se concentró en las ventas. La línea de productos creció rápidamente, y las innovaciones, obviamente llenaron un vacío existente en el mercado, ya que siempre tienen un éxito instantáneo!

STAS innova desde la filosofía, para cada situación, la solución adecuada. El inteligente sistema de colgar, está patentado, y STAS ha ganado diversos premios. STAS goza de gran éxito en Holanda y en todo el mundo, allí donde tenemos un nombre respetado, y exportamos a más de 50 países.

Nei primi anni novanta Rien Stas era un tuttofare indipendente quando gli fu chiesto di appendere alcune opere d’arte. Egli investigò nei sistemi per appendere esistenti e rapidamente concluse che poteva fare un lavoro migliore…

Nel 1995 Rien costituì, insieme a suo fratello André, la STAS Picture Hanging Systems (sistemi per appendere I quadri). Rien si focalizzò sullo sviluppo del prodotto e André si concentrò sulla vendita. La linea del prodotto è cresciuta rapidamente e le innovazioni, che hanno sempre un successo istantaneo, hanno chiaramente riempito il buco nel mercato!

STAS parte dalla filosofia: per ogni situazione un’adatta soluzione. Gli intelligenti sistemi per appendere sono brevettati e STAS ha vinto numerosi premi. STAS è un grande successo in Olanda e nel mondo, dove abbiamo un rispettato nome e esportiamo in più di 50 paesi.

In den frühen 90er Jahren war Rien Stas ein selbständiger Handwerker, als er den Auftrag bekam, einige Kunstwerke aufzuhängen. Er informierte sich über existierende Aufhängesysteme und sofort beschloss er, dass er hier einen besseren Job machen könnte…

1995 gründete Rien zusammen mit seinem Bruder André die Firma STAS Picture Hanging Systems. Rien war zuständig für die Produktentwicklung und André konzentrierte sich auf den Verkauf. Das Produktangebot wuchs schnell und die Innovationen füllten ganz klar eine Marktlücke mit großem Erfolg!

STAS profitierte von der Philosophie: Für jede Situation eine passende Lösung. Die intelligenten Hängesysteme wurden patentiert und STAS hat verschiedene Auszeichnungen erhalten. Sehr erfolgreich – nicht nur in Holland, auch weltweit hat sich Stas mit  dem Export in über 50 Länder einen guten Namen geschaffen.

Dank interessierter und treuer Kunden wuchs STAS schnell über die Jahre zum Marktführer. Auch in der Zukunft wird STAS die guten Leistungen und Innovationen beibehalten!

1990-luvun alussa Rien Stas oli itsenäinen yrittäjä, jota pyydettiin ripustamaan muutamia taideteoksia. Hän tutustui olemassaoleviin ripustusmenetelmiin ja huomasi nopeasti, että pystyisi itse parempaan...

1995 Rien perusti yhdessä veljensä Andrén kanssa STAS Picture Hanging Systemsin. Rien keskittyy tuotekehitykseen ja André vastaa myynnistä. Tuotevalikoima kasvaa nopeasti, ja innovaatioille on selkeästi ollut tilausta ja ne on aina otettu hyvin vastaan!

Stasin johtoajatus on: sopiva ratkaisu joka tilanteeseen. STAS on patentoinut ripustusmenetelmänsä, jotka ovat voittaneet useita palkintoja. STAS on hyvin menestyvä yritys niin kotimaassaan Hollannissa kuin maailmanlaajuisestikin ja vie tuotteitaan yli 50 maahan.
